Muhato Parish was founded in 2009. It has Mary the Queen as the Matron Saint; it has more than 26.000 Christians. Its headquarters is located in the District of Rubavu. It has 4 sub-parishes, 15 outstations, 78 Basic Christian Communities and 6 Catholic schools.
